We have over 100 core engines in stock.
A large selection of Gold Seal Continental and Lycoming
engines are available for quick installation.

Western
Skyways is a distributor for
• Teledyne• Continental • and
many other aviation parts and supplies.

A one- to two-hour test-cell run is done per factory
specs using a flight prop, governor, and digital
readouts.
Data is furnished to the customer on a "run
sheet" which includes ambient temperature and
barometric pressure. A dynamometer is not used because
of lack of thrust load. |

TOUGH QUESTIONS YOU SHOULD ASK EVERY SHOP: |
If your engine shop doesn't measure up, it
may cost more than you bargained for.
If you’re comparing shops, ask these important questions:
- Are they FAA certified?
- Do they have an employee drug-testing program?
- Does the shop employ A&P rated mechanics with extensive
experience?
- Do they maintain full liability insurance?
- Are their engines brought to New Factory limits or simply
Service Limits?
- Is their engine work fully warranted to TBO?
- Do they perform a full test cell engine run?
- Do they use new parts or remanufactured parts?
- Do you get an itemized listing of all parts installed?
- Do they provide fast and convenient service if there
is a problem?
